Our favorite project to date. The home was original to 1955 when we purchased it - plush green carpet, avocado bathroom, and overrun landscaping that hid the entire backyard. We found and restored original white oak throughout the house, re-plumbed, re-wired, and drywalled the entire main level. Brining the laundry upstairs from the basement gives this raised ranch a true one level living layout. Custom cabinetry in the kitchen with quartz countertops brightened up the space and opened it up to the rest of the living space. Removing a wall sure helped! My wife's favorite part of the kitchen is her coffee bar with floating solid oak shelves. Another detail I love about the home is the custom wood work we did for all the windows and doorways with a tall 8" classic baseboard.
